当研究室の研究員をしていた川添杏（現：カリフォルニア大学サンタバーバラ校、ReTouch Lab所属）が携わった研究が、Haptics Symposium 2018（San Francisco）でのBest student awardsの候補者にノミネートされました。Thermal Grill Illusionは皮膚にダメージを与えない冷刺激/温刺激に触れることで、痛みの錯覚を引き起こしますが、そのメカニズムに迫る現象を定量化しました。
